Leaving a Blog comment is an effective way to connect with like minded Boggers. Publicity is good as one of the ways to earn extra money.
Little did I realize that an admittedly lengthy comment I left on a Blog would lead to this ‘expose’ of me and my activities. Anna Faber has kindly encapsulated her thoughts on the issues I raised and on myself on her Communication and Translati0on Services Blog. I hope you enjoy another perspective on me and my thoughts written by someone as a result of pure serendipity. Thanks to Anna for giving.

you should not use your name in your anchor text; only use your product name in your comments. As soon as you start tweaking this technique, you will realize that it has many opportunities. So jump right in and start using it.
Have to agree to disagree with you. It us essential to use your name in some Backlinks because when people do due dilligence on you they will type in your name and your product name. You should aim to have your name appear on the front page of Google. I hold 7 of the 10 top spots for my name in Google UK and USA. Only after this should you aim to go for the same with your name and product. Just linking your product simply gets the product higher. The essence of social media marketing is being unique and your name is unique however there will be more than one person with your name. Imagine if someone searched on your name and they were in the same City and had a bad reputation? Do you want to take the chance your clients mistake that person for you?

I agree with you Andrew. You want to brand yourself.
Could somebody please clarify something in regards to the keyword luv plugin installed on this site. It works great to get people to make comments (it’s what got me here, but can anybody shed any light on whether it increases traffic or search engine rankings. Due to its popularity, I am considering implementing it on a couple of my smaller blogs – but does it really help?
I can confirm it has helped improve the number of visitors looking for information on my keywords.
Thanks
Andrew
